MyAeroSatu 2nd AGM

On 11 March 2026, Persatuan Aeroangkasa Myaerosatu had successfully held its 2nd AGM at the conference room of NRM Technology Sdn Bhd, Space U8 Building in Bukit Jelutung, Shah Alam. It was presided by Professor Dr. Zulkifly Baharom, Myaerosatu Chairman by fostering collaboration between industry, academia & policymaker to drive growth in the aerospace sector. This AGM focuses on win-win collaboration with local & international players including enhancing SME capabilities, supporting students development & aligning with national goals like Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030.

It was also attended by the current elected office bearers: Deputy Chairman Dato' Mustiran Abdul Kadir, Secretary Dzul Bahrin Asmawi, Treasurer Najmi Rahimi Muzni, Exco members: Haji Zaini Rahmat & Haji Mohamad Rashid Che Ab Rahman, Internal Auditor Adi Satria Ahmad & Founding Member Adzhar Md Zin. Myaerosatu Minutes of 1st AGM held on 18 March 2025, and matters arising, Annual Report and Audited Financial Statement were approved. 12 resolutions presented by members had been deliberated & carried through for implementation by Exco or referred to Registrar of Societies for approval.

For the past one year under review, Exco of Myaerosatu was successful bringing together stakeholders to boost partnerships & collaborations, positioning Malaysia as a premier ASEAN aerospace hub. The 2nd AGM recognized the sustainable initiatives implemented by Secretary Dzul, Treasurer Najmi and other Exco members. It has been focusing on building the capability of SMEs to join global supply chains and approving the talent pipeline for job openings.

Looking forward to Eid al-Fitr, after the 2nd AGM, Myaerosatu Exco & members had Ramadan Iftar hosted by Dato' Sri Razali Mohd Sham, (center in Batik shirt) PAPUH President in Shah Alam. Pix: Dzul 

During discussions, members took note with interest that new collaborations are emerging between aerospace and sectors like automotive (for Advanced Air Mobility), electronics, oil and gas as a result of the war in between Iran-Israel, and high-tech manufacturing expertise. Regarding Industry-Academia, Myaerosatu suggested initiating of Strategic MoUs between learning institutions and industry players aim to close the skill gap for for the high-value jobs.
