Malaysia's Ambition: Re-calibrating the Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030 Malaysia's journey in aerospace began over two decades ago with the launch of the National Aerospace Blueprint in 1997, spurred by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) . The government rightly identifies aerospace as a catalytic, high-value industry under its 12th Malaysia Plan (2021-2025), aims to position Malaysia as a key player in the Asia-Pacific aerospace sector and supports the development of the local industry to become a leading aerospace hub in Southeast Asia by 2030. It had been formulated based on a 'bottom-up' approach where voices of all stakeholders have been given due consideration.
