Malaysian Aerospace Catalytic Enablers
MyAeroSatu is very pleased to extend our deepest appreciation to our distinguished speakers — Mr. Sitham Nadarajah, Datuk Zulkarnain Mohamed, Professor Dato’ Ahmad Zahir Mokhtar, and Dato’ Dr. Abdul Rashid Malik — for your invaluable presentation and generous knowledge sharing.
Our sincere thanks also go to our hardworking Exco, to all our participants from industry, academia, National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO), Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), Perdasama, Majlis Perundingan Melayu and to award-winning journalist Tuan Kamarul Bahrin Haron. Your presence made this dialogue real but let’s not let this end as a talk shop.
Our theme today was Catalytic Enablers to Enhance Aviation Growth. And the biggest enabler is not just technology or capital. It’s us — the people in this room choosing to act, not react.
If you take away one thing from this dialogue, let it be this: Aviation looks glamorous from the outside. Inside, it’s mathematics, trade-offs, and decisions made under pressure. When oil rises by just $10 per barrel, global airlines can lose billions. That’s the game.
But that’s also why it’s exciting. Where else do you get to mix geopolitics, engineering, finance, and sustainability — all before lunch?
The fuel crisis of 2026 will pass. What won’t pass is the need for smart people who can read the data, and still make human decisions.
So keep asking “why” and “what if”. Aviation needs you — young leaders, engineers, and technopreneurs.
We invite you to join MyAeroSatu. Yes, many of us are retirees. But we carry decades of hard-won knowledge from MAS, Airod, CTRM, TUDM, CAAM, and beyond. We provide the brain, you provide the muscles.
Together, that’s how Malaysia beats our direct competitors.
The runway ahead is bumpy. But aviation has flown through worse — SARS, 9/11, COVID, wars, and oil shocks. And with the enablers we discussed today — trust, regulation, talent, and collaboration — we are cleared for takeoff.
This was MyAeroSatu’s very first event, and its success gives us the impetus to do more.
Thank you, everyone. Let’s build this industry — for the sake of our nation.
