ANA takes the mantle of Airline this Year for 4th time in 2007, 2013 & 2018 - as a global leader in aviation excellence

As Chairman of Persatuan Aeroangkasa MyAeroSatu, I always follow with deep interest that All Nippon Airways (ANA) has long been associated with innovation and excellence. It is why this airline has been awarded the exclusive title of 2025 Air Transport World (ATW) Airline Industry Achievement Award of the Year, four times already - 2007, 2013, and 2018 - more than any other Asian carrier and the only airline worldwide to do so this century. I understand ANA mission is to continue to pursue the customer experience and to make its employees happy.

Founded in 1952 with just two helicopters, ANA has grown to become the largest airline in Japan. ANA Holdings was established in 2013 as airline group holding company in Japan, comprising 70 companies. It has three distinct airline brands: ANA, Peach & Air-Japan, which was launched in 2024 to focus on international routes within Asia. In a very important development this year, ANA announced a JV partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) - another multiple ATW Airline of the Year winner - that will begin in September with revenue-sharing flights between Japan and Singapore, further deepening commercial partnership between these giants in Asian & global air transportation. Both airlines are working to enhance reciprocal benefits for passengers. (https://www.ana.co.jp)

In fielding questions from the media, ANA President & CEO Shinichi Inoue, reiterated that “Our safety & high hospitality initiatives is to enhance customer experience value; our being awarded the SkyTrax 5-star rating for 12 consecutive years: our joint venture agreement with SIA, which was signed in April and synergizes two Asian companies with strong branding that can provide customers with value that they have never experienced before; the expansion of our network with new routes to Istanbul, Milan, and Stockholm. We realized aviation industry has transformed, so ANA is committed to play our part.”

Inoue restated, “Safety is the foundation of our business, while sustainability is an issue for mankind. To this end, we aim to be carbon neutral by 2050.”
